KEY CHARACTERISTICS
Made from water-soluble emulsified oils (contains no water)
High pigment concentration (comparable to traditional inks)
All colours can be mixed together
Tacky and easy to wipe
Drying time identical to that of traditional inks
SUITABLE FOR ALL TECHNIQUES, JUST LIKE TRADITIONAL INKS
The range of water-washable printing inks meets all the requirements of extra-fine quality. With a high pigment concentration equivalent to that of traditional inks, it can be used for all printmaking techniques: direct engraving with a burin, drypoint and mezzotint (rocker); indirect techniques such as etching and aquatint; as well as monotype and relief printing techniques including linocut and woodcut.
TIP
→ Optimal paper preparation
Dampen the paper the day before printing: soak the paper, drain off the excess water, then store the sheets flat, stacked on top of one another and covered with plastic film, to ensure even moisture throughout.
The next day, before printing, allow any excess moisture to evaporate naturally.
