Colour charts are an essential tool for all artists, as they allow them to choose shades based on their appearance and properties. This source of information specifies the composition, characteristics, opacity and miscibility of our colours.
WATER WASHABLE PRINTING INKS
Our range of water-based inks is available in a choice of 12 colours, including black and white. Lefranc Bourgeois water-based linocut inks are formulated to the highest professional standard and are tailor-made for woodcut and linocut printing. Each ink will give a precise and high pigment yield.
INTAGLIO INKS
Our best-known inks are Charbonnel's traditional intaglio inks, comprising 54 colours, including two metallic and 10 blacks. You can choose between 60 ml tubes and 200 ml pots in all colours, while blacks are also available in a larger 800 ml format. We also offer a range of oil additives to mix with Charbonnel intaglio inks to create the viscosity, transparency and gloss you desire. Clear oil will dilute the inks when they are too thick, while oily oil will help you when creating shades.
