Lefranc - 3H Gilding Mixture - 75ml

Charbonnel 3-hour oil-based gilding size is an adhesive designed to secure gold leaf to various surfaces, including non-porous materials such as glass, metal and marble. It is particularly suitable for small to medium-sized indoor gilding projects. Application steps:

1. Carefully prepare the surface.

2. Apply an even coat of gilding size with a brush.

3. Wait approximately 3 hours, until the surface becomes slightly tacky.

4. Gently apply the gold leaf to the tacky surface.

The gilding size can also be tinted with oil colours to enhance the tone of the gold.
