Waterbased Gilding Mixture - 118ml

Charbonnel water-based gilding size is an adhesive designed for quick gilding work on absorbent surfaces, such as wood or plaster. Application steps:

1. Carefully prepare the surface.

2. Apply a first coat of gilding size diluted with 20% water.

3. Apply a second thin coat without dilution.

4. Wait approximately 30 minutes before applying the gold leaf. Application remains possible for up to 24 hours after the size has been applied.

This gilding size cannot be burnished with an agate stone. Any ungilded areas must be protected with a finishing varnish.
